I am a little late this week but here is the current week schedule and highlights from last week.

The Wapahani Wrestling team and Coach Delk started their season out by going 3-2 at Daleville Saturday morning.  The Raiders had 3 champions in Jaide Lowe (5-0), Brandon Kepner (5-0), and Daxton Stevens (4-1).  Other wrestling results: Trevor Alley (4-1), Fred Johnson (2-3), Jordan Meadows (2-3), Andrew Berg (0-5), Lance Finchum (4-1), Samuel Piercy (0-2).  The Wrestling team will be back on the mat this Saturday November 28th at Shenandoah.

The Wapahani Girls Basketball team continue to stay hot as they improved to 4-0 this weekend with home wins over Delta and Daleville.  The Varsity girls under Coach Brad Cutter continue to improve and work hard.  The JV Girls Basketball teach led by Coach Reynolds improved to 2-2 overall with Home win vs Daleville Saturday night.  The girls play tonight at Wes-Del 6pm JV Start.  Keep it going girls!

The Wapahani Bowling team beat Delta last Saturday 16-4 while the Girls lost to Muncie Central 17-3.  This Saturday the WHS Bowlers will be at Blackford Northside Lanes.  The varsity is at 12 noon while JV starts at 2pm.

The Wapahani Boys Basketball team competed in the MEC Jamboree this Saturday at Monroe Central and performed well in 2 quarters vs Blue River winning 26-14. The boys will open their season this Saturday at home vs Tri 6pm JV Start.  See you this Saturday for boys opener!  The Wapahani 9th grade boys continue to work hard and prepare for their season opener.  Their first game will be Monday November 30thhome vs Muncie Central 6pm start.
