Girls Soccer Lose at New Castle

The Wapahani Girls Soccer team traveled to New Castle on Saturday morning to compete versus a tough Trojan squad.  The Girls lost 12-0 in the varsity match and 7-0 in the JV match.  The Lady Raiders will be back in action this Tuesday at home versus the Mississinewa Indians.

Boys Soccer Defeated by Liberty Christian

The WHS Boys Soccer team lost Friday night at home to the Liberty Christian Lions.  The boys lost 7-1 with the lone goal being scored by Freshman Sofani Buck.  The boys will be back in action this Tuesday September 13th at Mississinewa HS in Gas City.

WHS XC Competes at Blackford

The WHS Boys Cross Country team finished 3rd in Saturday’s Blackford Invitational in wet conditions.  The WHS Girls Team did not post score due to only 4 girls running this Saturday.  Individually, Nathan Herbst finished 2nd and Alex Herbst finished 3rd for the Raiders. Evan Galbraith and Olivia Neal posted season best times as well.

Girls Soccer 10am is now Varsity First at NC

The Girls Soccer Match scheduled for Saturday (tomorrow) at New Castle is now Varsity first 10am with JV to follow around 12 noon.  The match will still be played at New Castle HS.

Girls Soccer Lose at Blackford

The Raider Girls Soccer team lost last night at Blackford by a score of 6-1.  The Raiders will be back in action Saturday at New Castle.  The JV game will start at 10am with the Varsity game to follow around 12 noon.  Good Luck Lady Soccer.

Golf Wins on Senior Night

The WHS Lady Raider Golf Team improved to 3-5 overall as they defeated the Alexandria Tigers last night on Senior Night. The WHS Scores were:  Snider 49 PR, Rausch 51, Green 60, Hood 62, Johns 63, and Good 65.  Congratulations to our 4 Senior Golfers:  Shelby Good, Laci Green, Emily Rausch, and Payton Johns.  Also,

Volleyball Wins Two vs Burris

The Wapahani Lady Raiders defeated the Burris Owls last night 25-16, 25-17, 25-9 at home. Junior Annie Schuck had 12 kills, 3 digs and 2 blocks. Junior Lexi Spence had 9 digs and 37 assists.  It was a nice team effort and good win for the Volleyball Raiders. The Raider JV won again 25-13, 25-15.

Raider Golf Shoots Low Score of Year

The Wapahani Lady Raider Golf Team traveled to New Castle on Wednesday Night and fell to the host Trojans. Despite losing as a team to a quality Trojan team, the Raiders produced a low score of 218 and 2 of the girls scored PR’s:  Sophomore Abby Snider shot a 50 and Freshman Lauren Hood produced

Boys Soccer Fall to Eastbrook

The Raider Boys Soccer team lost to Eastbrook last night at home.  The night was part of a Boy/Girl DH at Wapahani where the boys played first and girls followed.  The Raiders will be back in action on Friday night at home vs Liberty Christian.
