WHS Wrestling Team Starts Season Strong

The WHS Wrestling Team started out the 2016-2017 season with a strong showing at Daleville on Saturday morning.  The Wapahani Wrestlers, led by Coach Delk, have a strong nucleus returning along with a nice mix of young guys.  The Wrestling team went 3-2 overall on Saturday.  Individuals results were: Freshman Owen Sides 3-2, Freshman Max Davis

JV Girls Travel to Pendleton Heights

The Wapahani JV Lady Raiders traveled to Pendleton Heights on Monday evening to play the Arabians and gain more experience.  The girls were led most of the game, were tied 18-18 after 3 quarters but lost the game by a score of 31-20.  The girls played hard and improved throughout the game.  The Lady Raider

Lady Raiders Win Opener

The Wapahani Lady Raiders had a great opening night win on Saturday at the TeePee vs the Alexandria Tigers with a 50-41 final score.  Alex entered the game with a 2-0 record and battled the Raiders hard all game long.  The Raiders showed great balance and were led by their Seniors as Senior Kaci Mangus

Bowling Continues to Dominate

The WHS Bowling Team led by Coach Jeremi/Brandy Dobbs continue to dominate and compete at a high level.  The Boys beat Cowan this Saturday and currently sit in first place in the conference.  They currently have possession of the Conference Weekly High Score Trophy!  Keep it up WHS Bowling.

Raider Parents/Fans: The Winter Sports Season has arrived!  It was an outstanding fall season for WHS Athletics that ended in superb fashion with the Lady Raider Volleyball Team winning the 2A State Championship!  Congrats to all of the girls,coaching staff, and parents! Senior Chase Curry Wins IHSAA Mental Attitude

Congratulations to Wapahani Senior Chase Curry on winning the 2016 2A IHSAA Mental Attitude Award.  This is a prestigious $1000 scholarship given to WHS on behalf of Chase Curry and her family.  Chase is an outstanding leader at Wapahani and a great young lady that we are all very proud of!  Congrats to the entire

Back to Back: Raider VB Wins State

The class 2A No. 1 Wapahani Raiders defeated the No. 4 Covenant Christian Warriors 3-2 (22-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-22, 15-8) to win the Class 2A state championship on Saturday afternoon at Ball State University and Worthen Arena.  The Raiders battled hard and found the strength/grit to win the last 2 sets.  This is the Raiders

Wapahani Red/White Winter Jamboree this Friday

The Wapahani Red/White Winter Jamboree will take place this Friday Night November 11th starting at 6pm at the TeePee!  The Jamboree will feature a $6 Dinner being served in the WHS Cafeteria 5pm – 8pm.  Adults $6 per meal with Children 12 under $3.  The Red/White Night will provide an opportunity to showcase our SMS

Saturday Results for WHS Bowling Team

The Wapahani Bowling Team showed up early this past Saturday to bowl in Blackford in order to finish in time to support the Lady Raider Volleyball Team!  The kids and coaching staff were concerned with getting in their work/practice in order to make the State VB Finals!  Thank you to WHS Coaching Staff for supporting
