All Teams Schedule: Week of December 7 – December 13

Raider Parents/Fans: December is here and our Winter Sports are progressing well! Tonight, the Wapahani Boys Basketball team will play at home vs rival Winchester.  JV starts at 6pm with Varsity Boys to follow.  Please join us at the Tee-Pee for a great night of basketball!  The Music Boosters will serve dinner in the WHS

Girls Basketball Remains Undefeated

The Wapahani Raiders girls basketball team won Saturday’s home conference game against Randolph Southern by a score of 43-39. The win moves the Girls to 8-0 on the season. The Girls return to action on Tuesday (12/8) as they travel to Yorktown. Corbin Priddy – WAPNET

Boys Basketball loses to Winchester

Wapahani Boys basketball lost a close, hard-fought game to Winchester on Friday. The final score was 61-57 Winchester. Boys basketball will play Friday at home against Lapel. JV will be at 6 and Varsity will play 7:30.

Boys Bowling 1st in the State

Wapahani High School varsity boys bowled a 2,210 and our currently first place in state. The girls team got third place in the meet. The next meet is on Saturday the 12th at 3:00 at Clancy’s Village Bowl. Perry Hughes – WAPNET    

Freshman Defeat Wes-Del

The boys’ freshman basketball team beat Wes-Del last night 41-24. Evan Galbraith led the balanced attack with 15 points. The team is at it again tonight at 5:00 as the opening act of the triple header with the girls. Perry Hughes – WAPNET

Boomer is Coming

  Boomer, the Indiana Pacers Mascot is coming to the TeePee. Come out on January 22nd to see Boomer and his incredible halftime show. This will also be Jr. Pro night. Come out and see the Raiders and Boomer.  

9th Boys Basketball Loses to Muncie Central

The boys’ freshman team lost against powerhouse Muncie Central 53-34. It was a balanced attack from the Raider’s offense with 9 players scoring with Joel Pyle and Luke Galbraith leading the way. Vicroia DeVoe – WAPNET

Girls Basketball Defeats Burris

The girls basketball team defeated Burris 88-26 at Ball Gym. The girls basketball team will continue in their season at 6-0. Girls will be at home against Cambridge city Lincoln tomorrow. See you all there! Morgan Shreve – WAPNET

Boys Basketball Defeats Tri

Boys basketball had a great first game on Saturday! The boys swept Tri High with Varsity and Junior Varsity both bringing in a win. The varsity boys ended with a score of 73-43 over Tri High. The Junior Varsity won 51-43. The Boys continue their season on Friday with a home game against rival Winchester.

Girls Basketball Defeats Delta

Wapahani coach Brad Cutter noted the Raiders still have to learn how to close games when they’re up, but he thinks they’ll get there. With the way they played in the third quarter, it’s easy to see why. The Raiders stretched a seven-point halftime lead to 17 after three quarters to pull away from visiting Delta 53-42 on Friday night
