Lady Raider JV Wins at Yorktown

The Wapahani JV Girls stayed unbeaten by defeating the Yorktown Tigers JV on Tuesday Night on the road by a score of 29-14.  The Raider JV improve their record to 7-0 on the season and will play next Tuesday at Frankton HS. Varsity Boys Beat Winchester; 3-0 Overall

Boys JV Win 3rd Game of the Year

The Raider Boys JV hosted the Winchester Falcons on Friday Night at Raider Gym.  The Boys escaped with a 50-46 win on their home court.  The Boys JV led at halftime by a score of 25-24 and after 3 quarters 36-33.  Wapahani was led by Sophomore Evan Rausch with 19 points (3 three’s and 6/8

The Wapahani Lady Raiders won their 6th Game of the Season on Saturday Night as they hosted the Randolph Southern Rebels.  The Raiders won by a score of 58-49 to improve to 6-1 (MEC 5-0). Girls Varsity Beats CC Lincoln

The Wapahani Lady Raider Varsity Basketball Team defeated the CC Lincoln Eagles on Thursday Night at Wapahani by a score of 45-28.  The Raiders led from the tip and stretched out their lead in the 2nd Half with hot shooting and great teamwork/passing.  Junior Mauranda Racer led the Raiders with 15 points (5 three pointers)

Freshman Lose at BRV

The WHS Freshman Basketball Team lost to the host Blue River Vikings in a close contest Thursday night 34-33.  With the loss tonight, the Freshman Team record now stands at 1-2 on the year.  They will play Monday at Shenandoah in Middletown, IN.   Scoring for Wapahani: Blake Castor 14, Nolan Dudley 10, Cameron West 5, and Justin Rahe 4.
