Boys Varsity Basketball Sweep Weekend

The Wapahani Boys Basketball Team swept MEC Foes Cowan and Union this weekend in HS Basketball Action. The Boys won on Thursday Night on the road at Cowan then beat Union at home on Saturday afternoon. The Raider Boys will play Friday at Monroe Central 6pm.

JC Regional Results; Johnson Season Ends

Wapahani Junior Fred Johnson lost on Saturday at the Jay County Regional to complete an outstanding year.  Fred lost to the 17th ranked Wrestler in the state of Indiana (John Ruble) from Bellmont HS in Decatur, IN. Boys Basketball Travel to Cowan Tonight 6pm JV Tip

The Wapahani Boys Basketball Team will travel to Cowan HS tonight to take on the host Blackhawks.  The JV game will tip off at 6pm followed by the Varsity game.  The Raiders are 12-4 overall and look to finish the season strong vs their MEC Rival.  Good Luck Raiders. Raider Frosh Win 9th in a Row

The Wapahani Freshman Basketball Team defeated the Union City Indians at home on Monday night 49-7 to raise their record to 10-4 on the year and accomplish their 9th win in a row.  They will play at New Castle on Monday 6pm. Girls Lose to Monroe Central; End Season at 14-9 Overall

The Wapahani Lady Raider Girls Basketball Team ended their season last night at the Frankton Sectional with a 61-43 loss to the Monroe Central Golden Bears.  With the loss, the girls end their season with a 14-9 overall record.  The Girls Team will lose one senior in Forward Annie Schuck.  Congrats to both teams on

Raider Frosh Win 9th of the Year

The Wapahani Freshman Basketball Team raised their record to 9-4 on the year with a 35-22 win over Knightstown on Monday night.  The win is the Freshmen team’s 8th in a row.  The boys will next be in action for their last home game on Wednesday night vs Union City 6pm. WHS Bowling Teams End Season at Richmond Semi-State

Congratulations to the Wapahani Boys and Girls Bowling Teams as they concluded their season this past Saturday at the Richmond Bowling Semi-State.  The Boys finished 7th overall and narrowly missed 6th place by 3 pins.  The Girls finished in 6th place but did not advance to the State Finals. Sectional Wrestling Results; Johnson Moves On

Congratulations to Junior Fred Johnson as he finished 3rd at 145 on Saturday at the Delta Sectional.  With this finish, Fred will move on to next Saturday’s Jay County Regional!!  Great Job Fred. Junior Sam Piercy finshed in 6th place at 195 on Saturday.  He finished in 6th place after losing to Daleville’s Diego Sanchez.

JV Raiders Win; Finish Season 16-2 Overall

The Wapahani JV Lady Raiders won again on Thursday Night with a 43 -33 victory against MEC Rival Shenandoah.  With the win, the JV Raiders conclude their season with a 16-2 record.  Outstanding Season Girls!
