Girls Win at Union County Invite; Boys 2nd

The Wapahani Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country Teams competed in the Union County Early Bird Invitational on Wednesday Night in Liberty, IN.  The rain did not slow the boy or girls down as both teams showed great potential. Several Wapahani Fall Student-Athletes were selected 2017 Academic All-MEC for the 1st Nine weeks of this school year.  According to the MEC Bylaws, a Student must be a varsity letterwinner, must possess a 3.5/4.0 GPA for current Grading Period, and must be recommended by the School Administration.  Students recognized as MEC Academic All- Conference athletes

50 Raiders Who Cook This Thursday

Join the Wapahani Raider Athletics Family this Thursday at Wapahani HS for 50 Raiders Who Cook.  This is a Crockpot Cookoff with all proceeds to benefit the WHS Athletic Department.  The event will start at 6pm and last until 8pm.  Tickets are $5 in advance at the WHS Office and $6 at the door.  Tickets

Congrats Herbst Twins on Great Careers

Congratulations to Alex and Nathan Herbst as they finished their excellent XC Careers at the IHSAA XC State Finals on Saturday in Terre Haute, IN.  Alex finished 63rd overall (16:22.3) while Nate finished in 78th (16:26.9).  Congrats to the Herbst Family, Coach Stevenson, and of course Alex and Nathan on tremendous XC Seasons and Careers.

The Herbst Twins will run on Saturday October 28th in Terre Haute at the IHSAA XC State Finals representing the Wapahani Raiders.  Good Luck to Alex Herbst and Nathan Herbst as the compete for the 2017 XC State Championship.  The State Finals will start at 1pm. Please arrive VERY early and get loud to cheer
