Raider VB Wins Again

The Wapahani Raider Volleyball team defeated the Union Rockets last night at Union 25-10, 25-9, 25-13. Sophomore Sarah Orme had 5 kills and 8 aces. Junior Lexi Spence had 9 digs and 30 assists. The Raider JV won 25-19, 25-11. Next game is Wednesday at Madison Grant.

Volleyball Wins Two vs Burris

The Wapahani Lady Raiders defeated the Burris Owls last night 25-16, 25-17, 25-9 at home. Junior Annie Schuck had 12 kills, 3 digs and 2 blocks. Junior Lexi Spence had 9 digs and 37 assists.  It was a nice team effort and good win for the Volleyball Raiders. The Raider JV won again 25-13, 25-15.

Volleyball Beats Hagerstown

The Wapahani Lady Raiders defeated the visiting Hagerstown Tigers 30-32, 25-21, 25-12, 25-15. Sky Van Note led the team with 23 kills. Lexi Spence had 50 assists and Havyn Gates had 24 digs. The Wapahani JV also won 25-16, 25-20. Both teams will be back in action on Thursday at home vs Muncie Burris.

Raider Volleyball Beats Jay County

The Wapahani Lady Raiders defeated the Jay County Lady Patriots in straight sets 25-14, 25-18, 25-12 to improve to 6-1 (MEC 2-0) on the Season. Sky VanNote lead the team with 12 kills and 1 block, Estella Davis 7 kills, Sarah Orme 3 kills, Annie Schuck 2 kills & 2 blocks and Chase Curry 2 kills

Volleyball Loses to Yorktown

The Wapahani Volleyball team lost to Yorktown on Tuesday night at home.  The Delaware County matchup featured the #1 2A ranked Wapahani Raiders vs the #1 3A ranked Yorktown Tigers.  Yorktown won in 3 competitive straight sets:  25-12, 25-23, 25-23.  It was a great crowd for August Volleyball.  Thank you to the Wapahani Student Section

Volleyball Raiders Win 2016 WHS Invitational

The Wapahani Raider Volleyball team stayed undefeated and improved to 5-0 on the season with wins over Shenandoah (25-20, 27-25), Knightstown (25-12, 25-6), and Homestead (22-25, 25-9, 15-9).  The Lady Raiders will be back in action this Tuesday at Home vs Delaware County Rival Yorktown 6pm JV start.  See you Tuesday night!

Raider VB Improves to 2-0

The Wapahani Volleyball team beat Wes-Del on the road Thursday night to improve to 2-0 on the short season.  The Raiders won 25-13, 25-11, 25-11.  The JV Raiders also won in 3 set victory over a hardworking WD JV team.  The Varsity Raiders will play this Saturday as we host the 2016 Wapahani Invitational starting

Volleyball Raiders Open Season with Win

The Wapahani Raider Volleyball team defeated Blue River 25-4, 25-14, 25-8 last night at BRV. Junior Sky Van Note led the team with 17 kills, 6 digs and 5 aces. Senior Chase Curry had 5 kills and 4 blocks. The Raider JV team won 25-11, 25-6. Next game is Thursday at Wes-Del 6pm JV start.

Raider Volleyball Ready to Go

The Lady Raider Volleyball Team will kickoff their 2016 season tonight as the travel to Blue River to battle the Vikings.  JV game starts at 6pm with the Varsity to follow.  The Raider Volleyball team was voted as the #1 team in 2A during pre-season polls.  Have a great season Lady Raiders!
