Updated Physical and IHSAA Health History Report Information

All Physicals that were current for the 2019-2020 season will be good for the upcoming 2020-2021 Athletic Season.  Any Student-Athlete planning to participate this upcoming School Year will be able to use last year’s IHSAA Physical.  The IHSAA is requiring each Student – Athlete to complete an IHSAA Health History Report signed by Athletes/Parents.  This includes Incoming Freshmen.  The

Great Season Lady Raider Hoops; Finish 15-10 Overall

The Wapahani Lady Raider Basketball Team ended their 2019-2020 Season with a great run in Sectional 40 at Lapel HS defeating the host Bulldogs on Friday Night but losing on Saturday Night to the Frankton Eagles.  The Raiders battled hard all night and once again never gave up losing to the Eagles by a score

Lady Raiders Defeat Lapel; Sectional 40 Championship Saturday Night

Go Wapahani Lady Raiders. The Girls defeated the Lapel Bulldogs in comeback fashion on Friday Night by a score of 50-46 to advance to the Sectional 40 Championship Game 7:30pm at Lapel.  The Raiders will play the Frankton Eagles.  Arrive early –Doors open at 6:30pm wearing Black for the Girls. JV Girls Win Again; Finish 19-2 Overall

Great Season JV Girls!  The Wapahani JV Basketball Team defeated the Shenandoah Raiders on Thursday Night to complete their 2019-2020 with a 19-2 overall record.  Outstanding effort and season to the young Raiders and Coach Boggs. Great Job Raiders.

GBB Sectional 40 Bracket

The Class 2A Sectional 40 Draw for Girls Basketball was announced this past Sunday. The Lady Raiders will play on Friday Night vs the winner of the Elwood/Lapel 1st Round Game. The Raiders will play at Lapel 6pm on Friday February 7th. Good Luck Raiders.

JV Girls Win on Buzzer Beater; 18-2 Overall

The Wapahani Lady Raider JV won at Lapel on Tuesday Night on a buzzer beating layup by Kendyl Thrasher. The JV Raiders found themselves down 1 with 1.8 seconds left and looking to go the full length of the court to win. Freshman Lauren Luce hit the Freshman Thrasher in stride for a great ending

Lady Raider JV Wins Again; 17-2 Overall

The Wapahani JV Basketball Team defeated the Union City Indians on Saturday Night to earn their 17th win of the season. The JV Raiders (17-2 overall) will look to win out next week against Lapel on Tuesday and home vs Shenandoah on Thursday. Great Season JV Girls and Good Luck next week.

Lady Raider JV Defeat Monroe Central; 16-2 Overall

The Wapahani JV Girls Basketball won their 16th game of the year on Wednesday Night at Monroe Central by a score of 28-21.  The Lady Raider JV (16-2 overall) will host the Union City Indians on Saturday Night 6pm JV Tip. Great Job Raiders.

Girls JV 1-1 Overall at Shenandoah Tourney; 15-2 Overall

The Wapahani Lady Raider JV Basketball Team finished 1-1 Overall this past Saturday at the Shenandoah JV Girls Tourney. The Raiders defeated the Adams Central Jets in a very tight first game then lost to the Frankton Eagles in the Championship. The Raider JV is now 15-2 overall.  Go Raiders.
