Freshman Defeated at Jay County; Host Knightstown 5pm Thursday

The Freshman Basketball team dropped its ninth game of the season losing to Jay County 35-15 on Tuesday evening at Jay County.  The Raiders are now 1-9 on the year.  They will host Knightstown on Thursday night starting at 5:00pm. Freshmen Defeated at Madison Grant

The Freshman basketball team was defeated  at Madison Grant on Thursday night by the score of 40-20.  With the loss the freshman move to 1-8 on the year.  They will play at Jay County on Tuesday night. Scoring for Wapahani: Bryan Gibson 9, Kamden Gibson 5, Kory Lingenfelter 4, and Landon Rabenstein 2.

Jay County Freshman Game On 1/19 Will Be Played at East Jay

The Jay County/Wapahani Freshman Boys’ BB game scheduled for 1/19/21 at JC will be moved to the former East Jay Middle School located in Portland, IN. The East Jay Gym is accessible from the main parking lot on the south side of the building. The parking lot connects directly to US 27 just north of the Arch Bridge

Freshman Basketball Results from Frankton

The Freshman basketball team traveled to Frankton on Monday night and came away with a 42-20 loss to the host Eagles.  The freshman record now stands at 1-7 on the year.  They will play at Madison Grant on Thursday night. Scoring for Waphani: Mason Barton 10, Kory Lingenfelter 7, and Bryan Gibson 3.

Freshmen Basketball Results from Tuesday Evening

The Wapahani Freshmen basketball team started off its 2021 portion of the season by playing two games in one night.  In the first contest the Raiders were defeated by Blackford 43-35.  In the 2nd game of the evening Wapahani was defeated by Monroe Central 49-28.  With the two losses the Raiders record moves to 1-6

Freshman Team Host Blackford and Monroe Central Tuesday 5:30pm

The Wapahani Freshman Team and Coach Zickgraf will get back on the court starting Tuesday 1/5 (tomorrow) with a Doubleheader.  The Boys will host Blackford at 5:30pm followed by the 2nd game of the double dip with Monroe Central at approximately 7pm.
